Remembrance: Ann Meledandri

Ann Meledandri had a heart for her family, charity, community, and faith. She never stopped learning or giving her time and talents to her community, including CASA of Allegheny County. Ann served as a CASA volunteer advocate with the same heart she gave to the rest of her life. She always worked tirelessly for the vulnerable children she served, advocating for three children under the age of five over the course of three years, and many remember her kindness and diligence on their behalf.

After her advocacy volunteering for CASA ended, Ann still continued to champion our mission, giving of her time and talent to volunteer for many Superhero Races that benefitted CASA. Her commitment to our cause over the last decade has been very important to our CASA family, and we cherish Ann’s contributions that directly impacted our agency and our kids.

Ann passed away on August 3, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Frank Meledandri, three children, nine grandchildren, plus many family members and friends.
